I’m Maredie Palmer,   also known as, Redie    – the owner and artist behind Le Vella Arts.

Le Vella    Arts is a translation of “The Beautiful” Arts using a play on French and Spanish words. I chose the name because it embodies my sentiments around fine arts.

 

I have always been a dancer by skill, but towards the end of 2019, I wanted to find another outlet for my anxiety.  At the time, I was juggling several circumstances in life that had taken a toll on my mental health. 

 

 I quickly became obsessed with abstract art and the possibilities of outcomes while using different mediums – that's how Le Vella Arts began.

 

As a therapy for a young Afro-Latina looking to relieve her daily stress healthily. 

 

Since my launch in 2020, I have been able to create exclusive pieces for different people, bringing light, love, curiosity,    and conversation starters to my clients' homes and commercial spaces.
