Use & Care Instructions
Food Use
-
All charcuterie boards are pre-conditioned with a food-grade mineral wax.
-
Before initial use with food, wash only the wooden portion of the charcuterie board with light soap and warm water.
-
Use one drop of oil, preferably vegetable or olive oil, to lightly coat the wooden area before serving food.
-
Lightly hand wash the wooden portion with warm, soapy water after every use and dry immediately.
-
Split may occur because wood may be affected by humidity & temperature.
-
Do not leave food on the resin portion of the charcuterie board for an extended amount of time.
-
Do not submerge or soak in water.
-
Do not place items in a dryer, dishwasher, microwave, or oven.
Decorative Use
-
Hang with care using the appropriate tools.
-
To maintain the life of the artwork, you may lightly dust the piece.
-
You may use warm soap and water to clean occasionally. No hard detergents or other cleaning agents.
Please note:
-
Resin is a naturally yellowing product—stored in a well-ventilated location away from heat, sunlight, or light source with UV rays to slow the yellowing process.
-
Tiny bubbles may be present in the product. This is normal, as it is a part of the resin curing process.
-
Do not use an excessive amount of water to clean any artwork.
-
Do not use abrasive powders, harsh detergents, or steel will to any artwork.
-
Do not place heavy items on top of any artwork.
